Derek Jeter 1000 RBIs Milestones |

Derek Jeter reached a couple of milestones with his second-inning homer Sunday. Jeter reached 2,518 career hits, tying Babe Ruth for second-most in Yankees history.
 "It just talks about the consistency of Derek Jeter," manager Joe Girardi said. "And he's done it for a long, long time. He just keeps climbing the ladder, and he's passing very impressive people."
The home run was the 205th of Jeter's career, tying Dave Winfield and Alex Rodriguez for 11th-most in Yankees history. It also gave Jeter 1,000 career RBI.
"I'm not sitting around thinking about what I'm doing individually," Jeter said. "We're trying to win games.
"Any time you mention guys like that, obviously it's an honor, but I'm not thinking about that."
