New York PSAL Baseball Spring Training Clinics

By Robert H. Pertsas, Baseball Commissioner - The Public Schools Athletic League is proud to announce The Seventh Annual Baseball Spring Training Clinics designed exclusively for the student/athletes of the New York City Public High Schools.

The clinics will be held in each borough at the following times and locations:

Brooklyn --- Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 – 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Fort Hamilton HS, 8301 Shore Road, Brooklyn, NY 11209
Abraham Lincoln H.S., Coach, Frank Sommo, Clinic Coordinator

Manhattan --- Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 – 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Louis Brandeis HS, 145 West 84th Street, Manhattan, NY 10024

Queens --- Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008 – 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Staten Island --- Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 – 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The clinic will feature hands on participatory sessions in hitting, pitching, fielding, catching and baserunning. Student/Athletes must wear or bring suitable clothing and gym footwear and bring their own glove and bat. In order to ensure the quality of these clinics, enrollment will be limited. To register, coaches should e-mail Commissioner Robert H. Pertsas at Bpertsa@schools.nyc.gov by Monday, February 11, 2008, giving the name of the school and names of the players who will be attending.
