California Baseball Tour Visits
California Baseball Tour Visits - With baseball season starting April 3, fans can plan their summer vacation with tours from Roadtrips, a travel company that specializes in sports-related trips. Roadtrips offers a wide variety of baseball tours including trips to the MLB All-Star Game, the World Series and 'Getaway' packages to any game in every major league ballpark.
One of the company's most popular packages, the California Classic Tour, gives travelers the opportunity to visit four of the Golden State's major league parks with plenty of free time to enjoy San Francisco and the Los Angeles area in between all the balls, strikes and home runs.
The six-day fully escorted tour runs from July 24-28 and includes all
transportation, while on tour, by deluxe chartered coach with games in San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles and San Diego.
The group tour opens with the Marlins at Giants in a Sunday matinee at
beautiful SBC Park on McCovey's Cove. After the game, you'll get to
know your tour group at the Welcome Reception and Team Dinner.
Next day, enjoy free time all day to take in San Francisco's sights.
This evening you'll escape across the bay to Network Associates
Coliseum to watch the Athletics and the Indians.
Tour by deluxe chartered coach through the heart of California to Los
Angeles where you'll spend two nights at the Sheraton Universal. You'll have the chance to spend your time away from the ballpark to sightsee, visit Universal Studios adjacent to the hotel or head over to Beverly Hills to try and spot some stars. The stars come out again in Chavez Ravine for a pair of evening games at Dodger Stadium featuring the Reds at LA Dodgers.
The last day of the tour you'll head further south to San Diego and a
great new downtown ballpark: PETCO Park. Enjoy a final game featuring
the National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals at Padres. Tour ends
with drop offs at our host hotels in San Diego and back in Los Angeles.
Land cost for the tour is $1,195 double or triple occupancy and $1,595 for singles.
Travelers who make reservations by April 15 receive a free 2005 National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum yearbook and a $100 discount on the tour. Mention code CAT05B when booking.
